I agree that women should be able to get pads/tampons for free, or at least at discount prices.
But I also have to point out that condoms aren’t just for the benefit of men. Condoms benefit women just as much, if not more than men.
And I don’t just mean preventing pregnancy, many STIs, like chlamydia and syphilis, can cause infertility in women if left untreated. In many cases the symptoms can just feel like you have a cold or the flu, so it can be left untreated, and you may end up having serious long term complications.
So, my point is, free condoms aren’t just for the benefit of men, anyone can get free condoms. Prevention of sexually transmitted infections isn’t just a men’s issue, it’s for anyone who is sexually active and at risk.
